Machinery CE Certification

Avacert International is a Notified Body accredited by the Turkish Accreditation Agency with the number AB-131-U in the field of product certification and published in the NANDO system by the European Commission with the identification number 2864.

The Machinery Safety Regulation (Directive 2006/42/EC) covers all machinery consisting of multiple parts or groups, at least one of which is moving, and designed to process, transport, or package goods. It also includes safety components placed on the market to perform protective functions, preventing risks to the health and safety of people exposed during malfunction or improper operation of such machinery.

For machinery or safety components where some or all of the risks are addressed under specific sectoral directives, the Machinery Directive does not apply to those risks.

For machinery where risks mainly arise from electricity, such machinery falls under the scope of the Low Voltage Directive 2006/95/EC. A single product may be subject to multiple New Approach Directives. In such cases, unless exceptions in Article 1(4) and (5) of the Machinery Directive apply, the product must comply with all relevant directives.
